Meet the Maker

Nurse by day, candle maker by night — I’m a small business owner, wife, and proud mom of two. With a background in labor & delivery, postpartum, and women’s health nursing, I’ve spent years supporting others through some of the most transformative moments of their lives.

The idea for Mommy Mode was born when I was six months postpartum with my second child. Like many moms, I was struggling to find time for self-care and to reconnect with myself. I’ve always loved candles, and diving into the art of candle making became my creative escape — a way to heal, recharge, and reclaim my identity beyond motherhood.

What started as a personal passion quickly turned into a calling. I poured my heart into perfecting the craft, blending wellness, intention, and warmth into every candle I make. Mommy Mode isn’t just about candles — it’s about lighting the way back to you.

Candle Care

  • Trimming the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn helps avoid excessive smoke and soot. It also prevents the flame from being too large, which can cause uneven burning.
    Use a wick trimmer, scissors, or even your fingers to trim the wick. Make sure to remove any burnt wick debris from the candle.
  • Let the candle burn for at least 1-2 hours the first time you use it. Make sure candle is on a heat resistant surface. For optimal burn time, don't burn candle more than 3-4 hours at a time.
  • Store candles in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Keep candle away from drafts, to prevent uneven burning.

What are your candles made from?

A: Our candles are made from coconut apricot creme wax, premium fragrance oils, and wood wicks for a clean, long-lasting burn.

Do your candles contain harmful chemicals?

A: No. Our candles are free from parabens, phthalates, and lead. We prioritize safe, non-toxic ingredients for your home.

Refund Policy

At Mommy Mode , all of our products are carefully inspected before they are packaged and shipped. Due to the nature of our products, used candles/wax melts cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to Mommy Mode within 3 days of delivery.
